If you are looking in the 350 range, you are going to have some options. The East side of the Valley willgive you a little closer commute to NYC. Hellertown (which is right off of 78) would be a good place to start, Coppersberg/Center Valley area would be the next, but beware that 350 may not be able to get you everything that you are looking for and taxes will be a little higher then the rest of the Valley. Follow these with looks into Bethlehem, Forks, Palmer, Nazaerth would be another one.

If you wouldn't mind extending your drive another 10 to 20 mins you can also look out the Macungie, South Whitehall way.
These are the most requested areas that we get from people relocating into the area. So there maybe some other areas to keep an eye depending on what ammenities you want.

Hope this helps. If there is anything else just let me know.
Thanks
Jeff
