Default Tons of Pellets

For those of you that heat with pellets how many tons do you use?

We have a 1300 square foot ranch, Im hoping to heat it 24/7 hopefully with a temp between 72-74 degrees.

We have new windows and doors, attic insulation is good, but not sure about the insulation in the walls.

How many tons do you think I will need?

TIA

Honestly I do not know how many tons of pellets you will need as it will all depend on your heating habits -- best bet will be to verify this with whomever you bought the house from or just buy you a bunch and see how much of it you end up using.

Plus there could be some more info on this if you google it or try talking to the manufacturer of the stove.

Let us all know if you figure it out.

Regards,
