Default Is Easton PA really that high-crime?

Hi everyone
I have read on many occasions, that Easton PA has a very high crime rate. In comparison to high-crime cities in MA -- it appears (according to city.data statistics) that the crime rates are pretty high.

Should this concern me if I live in Forks or Palmer being so close to Easton? Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Well, if you were born and raised in Easton, you know that Forks and Palmer are still Easton, but those sections are VERY different than being in town- much better. They're quieter, cleaner, and nicer.
