Default Upper Milford questions

I feel that the East Penn schools are very good and would like to have my kids enrolled in them. Macungie seems nice but most homes seem to be in a sub division with very little privacy. What is Upper Milford like? I see it also belong to the East Penn district. Some homes are in developments but have more property and privacy. Is it far from most of the kids activities? Is it far from shopping and school (middle and high school)? Also what is the difference between Upper and Lower Milford (besides the school districts). Is one more rural?
