Default Anyone use Bath Fitter in Wind Gap?

I'm looking for some reasonable prices in remodeling our bathtub and wall. I just recently picked up a flyer from Bath Fitter. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with the Bath Fitter in Wind Gap? I believe they're the closest to us. We live in Bath, PA. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It's a basic replacement of the tub and tub wall. We're on a budget, so we're really looking around.

Default ...just my opinion...

njbuyer,
A few years back I needed some work done in my bathroom and I went out to the Bath Fitter in Wind Gap. From speaking with them they said covering over my existing shower wall and tub would run about 3k. These types of things are not my forte but that estimate seemed high to me. I called a local contractor and got an estimate on my bathroom issues and he did the whole bathroom; not just the tub and walls; for 4k. He gutted the entire bathroom and replaced everything while Bath Fitter was only going to cover over the existing problem. To me it was a no brainer.
I hope this helps.
Chris

Well, the Bathfitter associate came the other night, and boy, what a rip off - or at least I think so. He quoted us $5,000 for a BASIC tub overlay, faucets and wall. Way too expensive if you ask me.

Yeah, I'd like to know how they stay in business, but then I ask myself that about many businesses.
Like I said, just call a local contractor.

I looked into it, too. Instead, I found talented, honest and reasonable contractors who do a gorgeous job for much less. Call Greg for an estimate at mod cut - please do not post phone numbers, DM instead . He's the best I could ever imagine. Enjoy )
