Default Trees in the Leigh Valley

What part of the the valley would you say has the most trees on residential lots? We just drove around North Whitehall and Lower Macungie and rarely saw trees within any developments. I know its winter but I have seen this even in the spring time. I did drive thru Hellertown and felt there was more greenery around. Is is the altitude that maybe doesn't allow the big Oak and Maple trees that I am used to in NJ. I understand there is a lot of farm land and newer homes, its just you see so much greenery on the mountains but not much in the housing area.

I think it's just the new homes with smaller lots makes it too hard to save trees or the houses are being built on old fields where there weren't any trees to begin with. The hills were probably never farmed so never cleared of their trees.
