Allentown anyone? (Whitehall: apartment, house, school district)

Hey guys, was searching for a place Im going to and saw the forum here Ive never been to Allentown. Anyone tell me how Allentown is off of 22, Airport Rd and onto Union Blvd? Thanks guys!

hello i can try and answer any questions you might have i know allentown pretty much like the back of my hand, i live off of rt.22, i used to work a block away from the union blvd/ airport road intersection, so im familiar with where your referring to. what did you want to know specifically? ill do my best to answer, are you looking at moving? or sight seeing?....

. the areas you talked are good. allentown is not a good place to live. they have alot of people and crime. I lived here for 15 years. I moved one week before my son was born. I hate it here and i want to move to kissimmee flordia. I may have to stay another year until i can save money to move..

It's not a bad area. Certainly one of the better areas of the the city. IMHO, going a bit west and being in Whitehall would be an even better area. Still close to RT. 22 and MacArthur Rd. You will hear planes all around that area, but it's not too annoying. It's not like living at the end of LAX or JFK. Are you looking for a house or apartment? Are schools important? What is your budget? Catasaqua has some nice apts, Whitehall as nice apts too, west of whitehall is the Parkland school district, which is real nice if you have kids and they have some real nice homes there.
