Default Looking for inexpensive place to host b-day bash for 1 yo & 40 family members near Lehigh Valley to Kutztown areas

I am from Lancaster county but relocate to Northampton area with my husband. Our son is turning 1 yo in the beginning of May. We need to find someplace inexpensive to have a party. Kutztown area is half way for each family but we are willing to find something from Leesport to the Lehigh Valley if available. Money is very tight...unfortunately our home is very limited in space and parking to host 40+ people. Any suggestions?

We've had family reunions at parks with pavilions. Kids loved it because there was room to run around in. We brought croquet, baseballs and bats, frisbee's etc. We had it catered by a local person because the majority of people were coming from out of the area, but it would easy enough to get things from a local grocery store (sandwich platters, pizza, wraps, etc) or do a pot luck. No reason parties have to cost an arm and a leg to be fun!

May is tricky though, it might be gorgeous, or it might be chilly. Or maybe that's just my mindset now because we're in the midst of winter! We used Southern Lehigh Memorial Park but also considered Upper Saucon Township Park in Center Valley. I would guess there are a few parks between your two points of interest if you want to go that route.

I want to try and find an enclosed pavilion then...the weather is too tricky at that time. I will continue to search for one.

There's a building on the grounds of Living Memorial Park in Coopersburg and I'm pretty sure it can be rented. It's owned by the VFW. This is the contact info: Park Reservations
Chris Dabrowski 610-709-8646 The park itself is very nice and right off of route 309. About 10 minutes from route 78.
