Default Macungie and Nazareth area

My husband and I just started looking into Lehigh County last weekend. Like most, we will determine where we live by the school districts. Right now we’re thinking of the Macungie and Nazareth area. I see so many new develops and the prices are amazing compared to Hunterdon County NJ. I’d love to stay here but I just can’t stomach paying 12k - 14k in property taxes. Anyways, we’d like to know what part of Lehigh will fit our needs. First, we’re looking for a good school system, a house with some property, highly recommend home builder and a good family community.

I read some pervious post but I didn’t see anything regarding Macungie. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all very much.

Macungie is in East Penn School district. Here is a recent thread: http://www.city-data.com/forum/lehig...elocating.html Kristy Liz moved to Lower Macungie from New Jersey and if you click on her name and then go to "find all posts by Kristyliz" You'll see more info.

Nazareth and Macungie are both growing rapidly, but Macungie and the East Penn School district are generally thought to have better schools. You can compare their stats at this site: SchoolMatters - Home or this one- Search for Pennsylvania public schools.
