Sounds like the North is the place to be! We'll make sure to focus our efforts on that area. We are starting to lean toward buying after seeing rental prices and are hoping to find something that fits us.

Thanks for the welcomes too. We've found the people living in town there to be very friendly and that is such a nice thing to have when you're moving across five states. I am sure we'll be back looking for restaurant recs at some point, although I've read a lot of great ones on here already.

Does anyone have any info on the neighborhood of Bethlehem near the Airport (north of Union, south of the airport)? I saw a few apartment complexes near that area the looked pretty decent. Just wondering what kind of neighborhood that is.....safe? lock your door? bolt your door? lock, bolt, chain and have a weapon ready?

I think you are referring to Hanover township. A few posters were talking about that area just a month or so ago. Here's one thread: Moving to East coast for first time but you may find more if you do another search yourself or just look back a couple of pages on this forum.
