Default Medical Facilities in Lehigh Valley

My husband and I are currently retired and selling our home in NJ. We are not sure where we want to move, but do not want to be too far from our children and grandchildren in NJ. So Southern NJ, DE and PE are all being considered. My husband has some medical issues....not serious...but still I want to be sure that where we move has good medical facilities and good doctors. How are the medical facilities in the Lehigh Valley? I asked this question in the DE forum and was told that the medical facilities there are not adequate. So now I'm looking into PA. Thanks in advance for any help.

Marge

Smile LHVCenter on Cedar Crest has won a number of

LHVCenter on Cedar Crest BLVD. has won a number of National Awards, it has a Trauma Center, Burn Center and a Cancer center. I have been treated there several times by very able doctors and surgeons.

St. Luke's is another very fine Hospital and has several locations including a BRAND NEW LOCATION at 17 th and Hamilton. During my mothers recent illness we had to go there for several of her treatments. They were wonderful!!

We have a Catholic Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, a fine hospital where I try to go if I am able. I am not Catholic, but I have never had more caring and compassionate nurses, nurses aids and clerical help then there. I have also had a few procedures there including being born there and to them you are a mission not a customer or client.

I had two torn shoulder rotator cuffs repaired there and some other senior procedures. The surgeons were always in to see you and answer your questions. It is still my favorite. I also had two broken wrists treated there as well. One of our sons was born there and one at St Lukes'.

Life has given me opportunity for many kinds of medical procedures. You need a good family practice doctor to know who to send you to. I have one and I thank God for him.

In every instance I have found out we have some of the very best specialists in a diversity of medical professions in the country here in our valley. My family doctor has done his homework and sent us to many really fine specialists.

I think you would find what you are looking for and what your husband needs here. If we can be of any help please let us know.
