Default Concerts

Hi I work at the toyota pavillion in Scranton and wanted to ask the LHV a question.

If somebody was performing in both Scranton or Camden, were would you rather see the show?

I would rather go to Scranton, but you all don't seem to have as many current bands, more of the "Classic Rock" and older bands. A better comparison might be Hershey or Scranton - in that case it would be a tie.

Smile I agree Scranton it is!!

I agree Scranton it is!! Our Elementary School took the children to see your Scranton Yankees play this spring it was a GREAT Day and a nice park.

I agree again with you about Hershey. Both Scranton and Hershey are both A LOT MORE USER FRIENDLY rides in the car then to Camden.

We avoid Philadelphia and Camden at all costs.

I'd prefer Scranton, IF they had the same big names as Camden, and IF they didn't have some kind of crazy prohibition or crackdown on tailgating.

I understand avoiding Camden, but there is no reason to avoid Phialdelphia. Penns Landing is a great venue to see a show. The Flaming Lips are playing there at the end of August. Come on PA Dutchman broaden your horizons and go see the Flaming Lips. Then go for a drink afterwards at Mcglinchies. Live a little. Be adventurous. I may even buy you a ticket.

Default Don't forget Musikfest!

Never been to the Toyota Pavillion in Scranton but I'm interested in the Trace Adkins concert there this fall. I've had a devil of a time finding out how to buy reasonably priced tickets. Any suggestions?

Also, I really enjoy Bethlehem's Musikfest, which I usually spend at least one weekend and a day at. Currently I'm short two tickets for Gordon Lightfoot (Sun 8/2), but I've two extras for the Commodores (Fri 7/31) and Chris Isaak (Sat 8/1).

I saw Lonestar and Sara Evans there a few years back. Great job! I've also seen Donna Summer, KC and the Sunshine Band, Tavares, and Sister Sledge. Musikfest is one of the best bangs for the buck.

The Commodores were excellent on Friday night. These professional entertainers rocked the house!

Chris Isaak was excellent on Saturday night. Another true professional, including a five-song encore!

The Wallflowers with young Dylan... Jakob, you're not Bob! No cause, no charisma.

Here comes my first trip to the Pavillion on September 5. I got two seats in the back row of Section 203: $35 per ticket... same price for tickets in the front of the lawn. Seems pretty good to me.
