Default Commuting

How many people have any experience with commuting from Wilkes Barre to Allentown; or Allentown to Wilkes Barre....

I live and work in W-B right now.. but all my family n friend are from the elizabeth NJ area... and 2 1/2 hours away just isnt working.. allentown would leave me an hour away from them.. and yet an hour away from my job

seriously thinking about moving down here... any advice? (i.e. where to move to in allentown...etc etc)

Whitehall may be a good choice. You can reach it from Route 22 and it is close to the city of Allentown. There is a lot of shopping in Whitehall also.

I think $700 including heat might be a little difficult unless it's in a rough area. Even some of the complexes in Whitehall are pretty ghetto these days.

Oh, $700 including heat is going to be rough. Check out Craigs list though and see what pops up. Avoid down town Allentown.
