Does anyone know of any good apartments in the Nicholasville/Lexington area?
Thanks!

There's tons of stuff "between" Lex and N'ville - there kind of grown together. You'll need to be more specific about price range
In general in Lex areas east of Nicholasville Rd are dicier than areas to the west. (SE isn't Compton, but there are a lot of car break ins, petty theft).

Sorry for not being specific enough. I guess somewhere in the 600-700 range for a one bedroom apartment.

You can get a one bedroom apartment at The Racquet Club in that range. It's located in the Man O' War/Tates Creek Rd. area of Lexington, which is close to Nicholasville and they are nice apartments.

$700/ month gets you a nice one bedroom ap here.
If you are working in Lexington I'd probably not look in Nicholasville just because US 27 is a really busy road that's not fun in rush hour.
I'd probably check out Shilito Apartments off Winthrop Dr and Man O War. or the several that are off Fort Harrods Drive.

I'm with Censusdata: Try to keep off Nicholasville Road. This comes from somebody that now contends with traffic in California!
Look at Harrodsburg, Tates Creek, Reynolds, Regency, Clays Mill, or Lane Allen (closer to the Harrodsburg end) Roads, or Alumni or Southland Drives. All South Lexington with ways to not drive on Nicholasville Road if you look carefully enough (although you might have to cross it).

I lived for a while near there on Orchard Drive. Seemed like a pretty nice area, mix of single family homes, townhomes, and apartments. Very close to lots of shopping. But driving up US 27 is a pain 15 hours a day, especially the part maintained by Lexingtown. Lex loves to program red lights to hold for 3 minutes even if your're the only car waiting.

Apartments
Bridle Creek across from Fayette Mall is a pretty nice complex. The prices can be a bit high without specials, but it is well taken care of, and a good location. I lived there for several years in the mid 2000s.

Yes, I agree with the above Shillito Park Apartments are nice - and the Racquet club (like some people pointed out) In Nicholasville prices are probably a bit lower (what price range) but horrible traffic situation.
The Mansion and Bridle Creek are nice, but they are on or off Nicholasville
road, so....
