Default Versailles, Brushy Run Road questions

Hello Everyone!

We visited Lex and surrounding areas the end of July, and fell in love with the area and people around Versailles!!!

We have interest in a property on Brushy Run but need to know more about this road! It sounds like it is pretty hilly from our realtor's description, which might not work for us and our livestock.

During our trip in July, we found a property on Gastineau that was interesting to us as well, but by the time we got home, it had been sold. From Google and Yahoo maps we're not able to really ascertain the topography of the land on Brushy Run .....

If anyone can help us, we'd appreciate it, as we're wanting to move from Idaho to KY!! And will be doing so 'sight unseen'!

Thank you for any insight!

Thank you so much! We appreciate your help!
The realtor says the house looks 'tired' (we can deal with that part) but there are no outbuildings on the property, and no fencing ....big expense when you consider we have to get water to multiple pastures as well!)

From the photos the realtor took, it looks a bit 'hilly' for our alpacas and what we need to care for them. But you know how deceiving photos can be!! The really great thing for us is all the trees on this property ....lots of shade during the summer months!!

Thank you so much for taking a look if you happen to get into the area. PM me and I'll give you the address, but please don't go out of your way!

We are SO looking forward to moving to KY! Now we're thinking we might need to look at land/acreage to build on instead of trying to find an existing place ...... it is all so confusing!

Much appreciation to you!

I might know what property you are referring to. If so, the roads are somewhat hilly, but definitely windy and narrow (no shoulder on the road). This is typical for lots of the country roads around here. But very, very beautiful!

If you want to PM me the address I'll be glad to drive by and give you more info.

Thank you for the offer! Our realtor said it wouldn't work for us (too hilly I think). We spent 4 days with him, evaluating about 15 properties when we were there, so he has a good idea of what we are looking for. FYI: gentlyrolling, good farm soil, plenty of trees for shade (within the fields) and grass hay ground to put up for winter. 30 acres minimum! We're not thinking we'll hunt for land to build on ....

I search the fsbos and various mls listings for Louisville and Lex on a regular basis, but it kind of looks like it will be spring before anything new comes on the market.

Thanks for you help, and the offer to look at the property on our behalf.
