I really love you sometimes!
I think it depends on the type of home that you're in. I've lived in an apartment in the winter, and paid somewhere between $60-$80. After the apartment, I moved into a house in the downtown area... paid nearly $250 in the winter. Most recently, I lived in a wonderful little house in the Tates Creek/Man o' War area and we never paid over $120. The latter house was very well-insulated, and obviously the downtown house was
not. Basically what it comes down to is this: if you live in an older home, you better cross your fingers that it's insulated properly, otherwise you'll be paying an arm and a leg this winter.
