To explain more. I want to be near West Va,we were planning a move there but we disagree on their mandatory vaccine laws and Ky has a religious exemption,I have a friend that lives near Berea but no idea what its like there, would love a town the size of Huntington,WV its been so long since I was in Kentucky I don't know where in the world to look. Unemployment low as possible would be nice. So if anyone can help please let me know.
I also need a college or university nearby as wife wants to attend once I am off disability and can work again.
I love Lexington. There are a lot of Deli Jobs your wife could find here.
(You could ofcourse check Monster, Career Builders or apply online directly to Krogers, Walmart, Meijers, Trader Joe's etc)
And a few good colleges and schools also. (UK, BCTC, Transy or EKU in nearby Richmond)
Rent for $550...I am not sure how doable that would be in Lexington...especially something for a whole family.
Rents are significantly less I believe in Georgetown, Nicholasville, Richmond and Winchester etc.
How many bedrooms/bathrooms do you need? Are you looking to rent a house, townhouse, Duplex or an Apartment?
You really have an issue with mandatory vaccination laws? I hope you don't plan on sending your kids to public schools...
Yes I do. I don't trust them.Do some research on what they put in those vaccines you may be shocked. Oh and yes 2 of them already attend public school. Now can you offer some information on Lexington or no?

Yeah Nicholasville looks like the perfect size for us. At least 2 bedrooms prefer 2 baths but 1 would do. Doesn't matter what kind of place it us but would prefer a house. Maybe some place outside of town a little bit. Sounds like a really good place for us. Never been in a meijer's or trader joes. I can't wait...Any good websites I could look at?
Meijer's has some great deals (not sure what they are like to work for, they do have a Union though)>
Trader's Joe is new to Lexington, and I love it! It's a lot like Whole Foods (we do have a Whole Foods Grocery also, so your wife could apply there also) except it's not as expensive. I am already a Big Trader
Joe fan. (Think REAL food, without all the growth hormones, artificial flavoring and additives.) They have some amazing stuff there.) There is also a Good Food on Southland Drive - and also a Save- A -Lot, which has a Deli.
Trader Joes sounds right up my ally! I have started getting into the eating better habit. I don't use fluoride in my toothpaste or water,I like organic milk,etc...so sounds like a nice place....got 3 kids so always worried about what I am feeding my kids.
I have narrowed it down to those 3 cities...what is the best/worst of the 3? Oh and when we move we will need to put at least our daughter back in school, not sure which town we will end up in as we probably won't have a place to live when we get there so will be staying in a hotel for a few days/or a week at most hopefully until we find something to move in to...I am thinking of making a trip to see each town before we move to narrow it down...was curious if there is some kind of residency requirements my daughter needs to be enrolled in school and my son is in headstart not sure if I will be able to get him in or not but would like to...
