Default Need moving truck advice

A friend of mine is moving from Norfolk VA to Lexington KY. Anyone have an info on relatively inexpensive moving trucks? The move will consist of the standard couch, ez chair, BR suite that would be in a 1 BR Apt.

Any advice would be appreciated.

(note--posting this on Hampton Roads, VA forum, too)

Hi,

I used a local (Lexington) company called Malone Moving and Storage. They drove to the DC area to load my stuff, moved it out here, etc. The person moving out of my house recommended them, said he had done "extensive" research to find them, and that they were "less than half" of most other companies. I wasn't organized enough to do any research, but in the end they were possibly only slightly more than if I rented a truck myself (including people to load and unload on both ends, gas, etc., etc.).

They were really great, super friendly, no problems, no damage. I thought I had their card on my refrigerator, but I don't see it there. You could find their number online pretty easily.
