Hello,

Anyone have any feedback on neighborhoods in Georgetown...specifically Cherry Blossom Village and Mallard Point?

Mallard Point - It seems like the houses have big yards. How rural is Mallard Point? How far from shopping? Also, I love to fish & see the community has lakes.

Cherry Blossom Village - I am a golfer & would love to live in a golf course community.

Any feedback on the racial diversity in these communities? Is there a way to look that up?

Also, do you get a lot of traffic issues in Georgetown do to Toyota?

Thank you.

BG

Both are good choices. Cherry Blossom is better for resale. Mallard Point is wonderful. I love it out there. It is about 15 minutes out of town, but it feels much further than that....which is both a good and bad thing I guess. I frequently suggest both to my clients who want to move to Georgetown.

Canewood is also a nice neighborhood and has golfing. The HOA dues are mandatory. I forgot the exact amount. I had a listing out there last year. I think it was something like $1400 a year. That slows down sales for the neighborhood some since not everybody wants to use the golf course.

I've never encountered much traffic in Georgetown. The worst intersection to me is where Connector Road and Oxford meet.
