Default Commute from Danville to Lexington

Can anyone please tell me how long the commute from Danville to downtown Lexington would be, assuming it isn't rush hour? Thanks in advance!

35 - 40 minutes. During rush hour, it's different because Nicholasville Road (US 27) is a major pain.

Cool! MapQuest says 55 minutes. I wasn't sure it was even longer or not. Thanks

It can wear you down. My BIL did this commute for a while and swore off commuting forever after a few months of it.

OTOH, the drive is pretty, especially in spring and fall.

Default Which is the fastest route? Less Congested?

Thanks! Does anyone know which way is less congested? I have heard that Nicholasville way is heavier traffic, but to me it seems more direct.

Nicholasville is more direct. Harrodsburg Road route takes you through some GORGEOUS winding country roads down by the Ky River.
