Good auto repair shop - suggestions? (Lexington: maintenance, shops, garage)

Hey, People of Lexington,

Anybody out there know of a good garage for auto repair and maintenance? We're newer in town and we'd rather not learn the hard way.

for brakes and tires I highly recommend Ashley's Wheel and Brake on 2nd St. It's been around since the late 1950's and has a great reputation.

I used to go to Rotary Connection on S. Mill Street. They were very good and reasonable back then, but that was over 10 years ago.

I have had a good experience with 1st Stop Auto. They have 2 locations in town. They probably are not the cheapest in town, but I think they do a great job and are very professional. Here is a link: index

What kind of car are you talking about? If it is European, then I can recommend some shops that specialize in various brands.
