Default Looking for local arts and crafts, know anyone?

I recently started a new business and I am looking for local artist, crafts people, etc. If you all have anyone that makes things on the side and is looking for an outlet to sell their products please let me know. This will not be immediate money as my business will not be up and running at least until August, but if you know someone we would need to start explaining the concept to them and getting everything in order asap. No one is too small, or too big.

Feel free to give them my email. Nothing negative and I am looking for quality products. I don't really care about the price point, actually my target market will be women with medium to high disposable incomes.

Local Lexingtonians!

stephanieuk@aol.com or you can send me a direct message THANKS!

Berea College has many talented artists. I know someone I work with who makes earrings and sells them at a crafts fair held annually in May (aptly called Mayfest). Shakertown has a crafts fair every year which always has a great deal of arts/crafts. I don't know how they find these people but you could visit these fairs or contact the organizers to get contact information.

Are they still doing the artitst market on Saturdays this summer? It is usually in conjunction with the Farmer's Market downtown near the library. There are some talented people that set up booths there.

Disposable income....what a concept. Is it still alive and well in Lexington?
