Moving Back...Looking to rent a 1800+ Sq Ft home in the Versailles Rd, Harrodsburg Rd Corridor (Lexington: 2009)

Hello all,

I am currently deployed and will return June 2009 from Iraq...we close on our current home in Atlanta this month and are looking to move the family back to Lexington. We are interested in renting untill I return and then will build or buy.

Can anyone recommend some good websites that will provide leads on some homes for rent on the southside preferably from the Clays Mill Rd area around to the Versailles Rd area outside of New Circle Rd? We would also consider homes in the Rosemont Garden / Southland Drive area as well.

I'm not sure what website to recommend other than craigslist. Realtor.com offers rental info, but last time I checked they had nothing for Lexington. There is a "for rent" sign on a house in Wellington in Rabbit Run heading from Harrodsburg toward, you know, Fayette Mall et al. If I think of another website, I'll let you know.

Right, good idea. btw, I meant "on" Wellington Way in Rabbit Run, right before you hit the Stonewall area.

I think lbar.com has rental now. Also, checkout Kajiji.com. It is kind of like craigslist. I don't know their website, but google positive properties. They are a good sized property management biz.
