Sman is on a distinguished road
It is very safe. I have lived in some of the largest cities in the country, and there is no comparison to Lexington. Even the "bad" parts of town aren't bad. It is a great place to raise a family.

I don't know where your threshhold for safty lies, but I have been in Lexington since 1986 and there are very few parts of town that I would be scared to be in after dark. I am sure you want to be in the safest area you can, so let us know what kind of area interests you so we can make suggestions.

Its very safe, even at night. Its a great little town.
