G' Morning! Here's some links to Lexington sites that you might find useful:

http://www.lfucg.com/
http://www.visitlex.com/quick/dining.html
http://www.10best.com/Lexington,KY/index.html
http://www.lexingtonattractions.com/

Plus, there are several museums, art gallaries, and historical sights/buildings to tour. Rupp Arena hosts some of the BEST concerts (tickets are on sale now for Bob Segar!) and so much more. You will just have to come on over and see for yourself. I really believe you'll be happily suprised.

Good luck! ~joanna~

Hi,

We just moved here from DC and our neighborhood has been soooo welcoming. I guess everyone has been welcoming, but especially our neighborhood.

I'd write more, but I'm running out the door ...

Lexington has a new website and the dining link above doesn't work anymore. It should be

For tips on dining, avoid looking on the internet at materials published by anybody affiliated with the city - they are unlikely to call anything "bad" or "overpriced"

check out teh chowhound forum - the people on that site seem to know their food quite well. I always search it when I'm visiting a new city and want to find the places that only locals know about.
