Chemist/facilities with labs
I was among one of the lucky individuals that was recently laid off at Lexmark. I am trying to do a 50 mile radius search of Lexington for potential businesses that do any sort of laboratory work. Do any of you know of any or can direct me anywhere? I know often times, businesses will use their own website instead of advertising with career builder, etc. Obviously UK is a large employer for the sciences, as is state government. Any direction is appreciated. I did find a wiki article which listed major employers in lexington and for now, that was a big fat zero. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
(I functioned at lexmark as an analytical chemist, fyi)
