Default I need a low-income place in Lexington

Hi. Does anyone know of Lexington apartments (rentals) that accept persons with low-income? I need a place that accepts pets (I have a cat) and has laundry hook-ups. Unfortunately, at the advice of a friend, I gave up my Section 8 for HUD housing in another county. I need to move back to Lexington and am on an 18-month or longer HUD waiting list.
I appreciate everyone's help. Thanks.
