Default Non-Denominational Preschool/Pre-K

We just moved here from Colorado and we have a daughter who just turned 4 in January. She was in a preschool thru the university there and we would like her to continue here. I have called some that were mentioned in BuckeyeBelle's thread:
http://www.city-data.com/forum/lexin...k-options.html
and most do not have room for enrollment right now nor the fall. Are there any other preschools that are not religious (or too much so) that I should try? We are near Tates Creek and the Circle. Thanks in advance

I couldn't access the previous post so forgive me if I'm being repetitive. Have you tried Temple Adath on N. Ashland Ave? They may have room and have an excellent reputation.

We ended up enrolling our son at St. Michael's, and we've been very pleased. Although it is not really non-denominational (they have a little chapel activity once a week), any religious elements certainly aren't overpowering--or even noticed by our son. We are not religious and would prefer a totally secular experience, but went with St. Michael's despite the church affiliation, and haven't regretted it.

If there is a school you want but they don't have space, I'd make sure you're on the waiting list. With this economy, I am afraid that there will be a few families just about everywhere who have to scale back. Our son was on a long waiting list at another school, we thought he might get a call a year from now, maybe for first grade, and they called us the other day to say they have space for him next year. So, it can't hurt to try.

Thanks for the replies. The temple looked very nice (and they do have some room) and we are considering it and the ECL on campus as we speak. It does seem that waiting lists will have more chances of clearing with the economy the way it is now
