Plus, I went to work with him on several occasions as a small child and, well, I liked the feeling, scenery and people of NKY far better than Winchester. (Just makin' a long story short.)

I had a lady come into Walmart one time with her husband (I suppose) and son and explain to me that she was looking for another community (around Frankfort). She was a native of Michigan and had also lived in Ohio and Georgia, but she never hated a place like she did Winchester, Kentucky. She called them the "coldest, meanest people she'd ever met anywhere." (Her quote, not mine.) I, the clerk behind the counter, frankly told her I could believe it.

We just bought a place very close to the Clark County border and do our shopping in Winchester. We found it to be very pleasant, it has anything you could want, and we love the large horse in the Kroger! That spoke volumes to us!!

Hope you like it. A lot of people are drawn to the Winchester area and end up loving it.
