My girlfriend is about to graduate in a few weeks and she mentioned wanting to have a day at the spa. I've always heard of this in big cities, but not Lexington. When I did some searching, I was surprised to find them as "salon & spa".

The ones that seemed most popular are:
Posh
Allure
Planet Salon

She wants one of those packages to get a manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, lunch, hairstyle (not necessarily cut/colored).

I was hoping someone could help me pick one because all the reviews of the facilities are both negative and positive. I can't find any reviews on the actual massages (all of them are about the haircuts).

Thanks in advance!

I've had pedi and manicure at Posh (Chinoe Rd location) and Allure. Both were nice though the pedicure room at Allure is a little nicer. I don't think you can go wrong with one of these. I've only had massages at The Massage Center at Dudley Square so I can't speak to that. Sorry this is all I know.
What a sweet present!

Thanks a ton for your input. I really appreciate it.

My girlfriend too has only gotten her massages only at The Massage Center. So I was just wondering how that (plus the others) stacks up at the other businesses. It's nice to know that at least the pedi/manicure is nice.

Any other input from others would be kindly appreciated as well!

Just an FYI -- the Posh location at Chinoe closed a couple of years ago. It's now the Richard Allen Salon.
