Like someone mentioned before, I would book hotel rooms early as Louisville is a very busy place until May 6th, and some people even stay in Lexington because hotels are cheaper or Louisville hotels are full. I don't know if you are checking out Louisville and Lexington, but either way, I would book hotel rooms now! Good luck exploring KY. One thing I must recommend is driving on US 60 between Louisville and Lexington. I think it shows what makes the state of KY so beautiful with the rolling hills, bluegrass, and pristine horse farms. |

Stx, We already booked our hotel. We will stay in Lexington, but we plan to explore both Louisville and Lexington. I'm not sure which place we will fall in love with, but I have a feeling that we are going to end up in KY. Call it women's intuition  |

Stonewall Estates
If you are looking for a nice, kid friendly neighborhood where the lots are larger, the schools (stonewall) good, and the housing affordable, look in stonewall.
