LCA2013 is on a distinguished road
LCA IS A WONDERFUL SCHOOL! After reading so many comments about the school, I find some of them to be only half true. First of all, there is never 27 kids in any class. Maximum I have ever seen is 20 and that is in High School. The school fills up quickly and they start registration in November prior to the year you attend. There is always a waiting list. The school does have a lot of different faiths and that is why it is so wonderful. The Teachers are there to enhance the family's beliefs and does not brainwash the student. They have an open door policy. Any parent can visit any class and meet or communicate with any Teacher anytime if there is ever a concern about what they are learning or how their child is doing. As far as the "prestige" factor, they don't wear ties and blazers. A lot of the kids wear khakis and polos from Kmart or from the uniform sale where items go for as little as two dollars. Yes, LCA has discipline and Bible classes, but they also, have Teachers and Staff that would do anything in the world for you. Parents that smile and say Hello to you. Are the kids taught to think of others? You bet they are! Does LCA give back to the community? You bet it does! As far as what the children are taught, come visit the school and sit down with one of the counselors and ask. The Teachers are all different and they do not impose their views on the students. They just like the public school system and the catholic school system have guidelines on the curriculum. LCA has brought so much joy to my three children and to our family. Yes! It is a tight school that cares about the community and others in the world. They offer a well-rounded education and the opportunity for your child to grow and become loving, caring, independent and strong. Isn't that what any parent wants?
