Default Help Me Compare Small Towns Around Lexington

Hi. I currently live in a small suburb about 25 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah (7,500 people or so). I'm thinking about moving to the Lexington area in the next 9-12 months. I don't want to live right in the city, so we're looking at some of the outlying towns: Georgetown, Versailles, and Nicholasville are at the top of my list.

I'm curious about newer existing homes or new construction in the 200-250k range, what the commute is like to Lexington, crime, schools -- you know, the typical stuff. Which is best for a couple of 30-somethings and their two kids?

Also, anyone know much about the LDS Church in those areas?

Thanks in advance!
