Don't ask your realtor about Christian Neighborhoods! They will think you are a plant form the Feds trying to set them up for violating Fair Housing Laws. I am also a "Bible Believing" Christian. I am always amazed when christians want to seperate themselves from everybody that isn't a believer. Do you really think that believers who lived in the cities that The Apostle Paul wrote letters to lived in Christian neighborhoods? My point is that if Christians could and did survive in Ancient Rome, you and your family will be okay in Lexington!

Paul wrote to the believing congregations in Asia Minor and Greece about the Torah and its keeping, because they were Jewish and he was Jewish. The Christian neighborhoods did not establish themselves until Constantine perverted the beliefs in the 4th century. Therefore there were no Christian neighborhoods in Rome at that time.

I know Paul didn't live in a Christian neighborhood. We are each called to live in different areas and I'm not called to live in Rome. I am believing less and less that we will be relocating to Kentucky.

The MAIN reason I am concerned about the neighborhood we live in is that we adopted an 8 year old foster child that came from a pretty rough background. He is VERY impressionable and tends to migrate toward the wrong crowd. I have to monitor everywhere he goes and everyone he spends time with. I put him in a different school a few years ago, which really helped, and now he is only allowed to participate in church activities or closely monitored activities. Deep down, he is a very sweet kid, that just needs loving parents and someone to help him make the right decisions. He has come a LONG way since he has been living with us, but he still has issues and has a long way to go.

So having said that, if you can show me where Paul had and adopted Foster boy that previously was given drugs by his birth parents and lived on the streets most of the time, then I will consider what you and the others have to say.

Thanks and God bless!!
