my fiancé and I are hoping to move into the downtown area and were looking to move into a loft-like apartment. We're both college students so price range would be a little on the low side. anywhere between 400-700/month. Would anybody know of any lofts that would meet those needs? We heard something about Westside lofts by the children's hospital, and those seemed to be really interesting. The building was said to be a junior high before the classrooms were converted into loft-like apartments. Would anybody know anything specific about that building besides its location or history? We tried to call to get some information about the cost but we were put on hold for 10 minutes and on the second call, we were sent straight to an answering machine. Any help would be amazing at this point. Thank you in advance!

If you're wanting to live downtown in a loft-apartment, I'd highly recommend looking into Block 2 Lofts (Little Rock Arkansas Apartments - Home - Block 2 Lofts).
They're in the heart of downtown, right in the River Market. I just finished a housing search and although I ended up getting a house instead of a loft, the staff at Block 2 was very helpful- there are three buildings they own, and each has it's own atmosphere.
Rock Street Lofts and Tuf-Nut Lofts are also right in the heart of downtown, but are smaller buildings than Block 2:

Good luck with your search!

I'd second those recommendations.
