Hi,
I don't live in Little Rock myself but my teacher assigned me to write a historical essay about the Little Rock crisis. It would be useful to me if any local could tell me typical black neighborhoods that date back to the 1950s.

You might see if you can find some of these books, they list some articles as well. I read one of the books on the list, A Life is More Than a Moment : the Desegration of Little Rock's Central High. But it's been a long time ago now. Good luck with your project.
