For those who make the daily commute through the Big Rock Interchange this will not be news, so this post is for those who do not normally go through there. This morning about 0815 I passed through there on east bound Financial Center Parkway/I-630 for the first time since it completely opened. I could tell no difference today than I experienced before the construction began years ago. As far as I could see in front of me and behind me, the traffic was stopped dead still for several minutes then would move a car length or two every several minutes. It started opening up east of the east-bound Baptist access ramp. For anyone reading this; Is east-bound Markham any better?

That's the reason I never go "into town" at that time of the morning, but today I had no choice.

The traffic flow maybe slightly improved but the fact is, if you're going East in the morning, you still have North and South 430 and Eastbound Chenal Blvd. / Financial Parkway feeding into the same 3-lane 630 that's.

Going West during afternoon rush hour may show more improvement as, theoretically, the flow in all three directions at the intersection should be improved.
