All I hear is bad things about the city and I could be working their soon. I would hate to commute from Saline County so I'm hoping I could find somewhere safe to stay. Does anybody have any suggestions?

What I've heard is that most people who must live in/around Pine Bluff, and who care about safety, live in White Hall.

Stay far far away from PB, aka Crime Bluff.. I suggest find another place to work if they move you there. In all seriousness, that town is so far broken with drugs, crime, gangsta wannabies. Its not safe anywere in town period. White hall is little better, but you be better off communiting much as possible and lock up your car. Dont keep anything valuble in it that a drug user can steal. Every town has there own crimes, like LR.. but PB is in the top 5 of the worst towns to live in.

How sad this is: Pine Bluff is such a pretty little town. I have a friend who had an very elderly aunt still living there a few years ago. Friend was going to come and visit her aunt and then drive up to NWA to spend a few days with us. It never happened and now friend has passed away without ever getting to visit Pine Bluss, where her parents were raised.

How about Sheridan? It's a small town and your commute would be about 25 miles. I don't know much about the place, except for what I've seen passing through.
