Dirt cheap weekly rate hotels in Little Rock?
I have a relative that got in trouble a while back and now he's trying to get his life back together.
He has to live in Little Rock and has no relatives or friends there.
We are trying to find a weekly rate hotel close to downtown (no matter how crappy it is) that he can afford and re-start his life.
We are gonna be there this weekend to try to help him out.
I would really appreciate your help

Good things don't happen in those places.

Economy Inn by UAMS on Markham, but that place gives me the creeps to just drive by it.

I'm sure that's with good reason, just as joe said, nothing good ever happens in a place like that. The only reasons I can imagine why anyone would stay in one of those is for dealing drugs or some other sordid activity.

I don't think they have one in LR yet but there is a relativley new chain called Value Place that only rents out rooms by the week. I stayed at one in OKC it was pretty nice, It had an actual kitchen with a stove and a full size refrigerater. I think it was less than $300 for a week. They have one in NWA. If you do find one I would recommend it.
No let me change that it was $159 but you have to pay a $100 deposit. It's a lot nicer than a seedy hotel though, you have to use your roomkey just to get in the building.

There is a Value Place in Little Rock:
21 Remington Drive, Little Rock, AR 72210 ( map)
Phone: 501-225-3400 (From their web site).
I stayed in a couple of these places recently (but not the one in Little Rock) and they are very good for the price ($179 plus $100 refundable deposit). You get a studio and kitchenette. And they are quite new. Hope this helps.
