Benton Arkansas Dining (Bryant, Mena, Ozark: hotel, living, restaurant)

Hello y'all! The wife and I will be spending Friday night [tomorrow] in Benton on our way to Mena to see the grandkids. This is our usual stop and we usually eat at Coltons. We would like to try someplace different this time. Any suggestions for where we might eat supper? Thanks! GO HOGS!!!!!!!!!!

Brown's Country Store and Restaurant, it's a giant brown building at the Congo Rd exit. Country-style buffet. MUCH better than it sounds like it would be. I know people from Texas that stop there every time they are in Arkansas.

I like the Rib Crib, which is right behind Coltons on Military Road (next to Bank of the Ozarks). Sometimes the portions are a bit small for the price, but it is always good. The pulled pork sandwhich w/ fries is highly recommended :-)

(Not sure if you'll read this before you leave.) Some friends that live in Bryant took my husband and I to a great little place around Benton called Dizzy's Grill. It was located behind Wal-Mart in a shopping center. If you like pasta dishes, you'll love it.

Thanks everyone. We ended up eating at a place called The Catfish Barn. Nothing special but you sure get alot of food for the money. Also, we stayed at a new hotel called Vista Suites. Fantastic place!
