Nearly everyone in Cabot, Benton, and Bryant work in Little Rock (or Pulaski County), and some of you expect all these Little Rock suburbs to post in a "General Arkansas" forum - that would be just DUMB!!!

By the way, we know that it is the NWA posters that do not want Conway and the other LR suburbs included in the Little Rock Metro subforum. If Conway is kept off of the Little Rock Metro subforum, then I will vote for only Fayetteville to be in the future Northwest Arkansas subfolder...
This says it better than anybody has yet. I have a hard time believing this is a debate. If Little Rock's forum is going to exclude it's suburbs, then it would be better to simply not split the forum. In super large metros like Chicago splitting out the suburbs might make sense but not for an area as small as Little Rock.

There's a good chance that has already happened. I suspect the 2010 census will prove it true.

"Ignorant" and "Dumb" in the same paragraph.

Not sure what age you are, but this sounds a little childish. But way to go to antagonize other posters on this forum.

If I were moving to central Arkansas and using this site to seek out information on the area, then I would appreciate data that included the entire central Arkansas area - including Conway and surrounding communities.

I think that there should be a sub-forum for the Conway area, as well as some of the other larger areas in Arkansas. Just because I live close to Little Rock doesn't mean that I can answer ?s about Bryant, and typically answers needed won't come about Conway from someone there or that far away. There's such a large student population here that for them to get information that they may need, it may not come as easy on the Little Rock forum. So, to me it depends on quite a few things. If it means a forum for the Central Arkansas area not including Little Rock and outlying places like NLR, Bryant, Cabot, Benton, etc., b/c generally those places are involved in the Metro area daily, then ok, if it means adding Conway to the general state forum, then I'm not too sure that's a good idea either, but might work out better. I always say try it and if it doesn't work out, change it back or try something new. Won't hurt anything, and gives it a chance. I know myself, I don't leave Conway except special trips, I work, use daycare, shop, etc. all here and I know I'm not the only one, so hearing of Little Rock ALL the time is kind of irritating.
