Should Conway be included in the Little Rock sub-forum?
We now have enough threads to add a Little Rock sub-forum. Please vote to decide what it will cover. This poll will be open for three days.
Edit: poll extended for additional two days.

Conway should be included because its one of the most popular bedroom communities. Most people who live in Conway work in Little Rock.

I think the whole metro should be included. When moving there, people look at all the surrounding communities when deciding where to live. It's about time LR gets it's own forum. NWA and maybe even NEA should get there's as well. Especially Northwest.

I do not think Conway should be included. Will Bryant and Benton be included? (they should not). It will just clutter up the Little Rock section. Nearby towns/cities should remain in the general forum to make it easier to extract local-specific information.
But it is a great idea to have a Little Rock sub-forum.

Most people moving to the Little Rock area opt for Saline or Faulkner counties over Pulaski. Benton, Bryant, Conway, and Cabot are not self sufficient communities. They are bedroom communities whose residents work in Little Rock. In my opinion if those suburbs aren't included there will be far less participation and it wouldn't make sense since those people will be working in Little Rock. I can see leaving out Sheridan and Searcy but Saline, Faulkner, and Lonoake counties are too important to Little Rock's economy to be left out.

Census data says otherwise. Only about 25 percent of Conway's working adult population commutes to Little Rock for work. That number has decreased considerably over the last three census periods and most likely will fall below 20 percent by the release of the 2010 census.
About 45 percent of Benton's population works in LR/NLR.
About 73 percent of Bryant's population works in LR/NLR.
About 70 percent of Cabot's population works in LR/NLR.
About 50 percent of Sheridan's population works in LR/NLR.

Wow, its a lot less than I thought. That said, Benton/Bryant and Cabot should definitely be included. I wouldn't include Sheridan simply because its distance.

Of course Conway should be included in the Little Rock subforum. Conway is the third largest incorporated community in the Little Rock Metro, and when Conway surpasses North Little Rock in population, it will be called the Little Rock-Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. It would be ignorant for the subforum to only include Pulaski County communities when all Central Arkansas communities depend on each other. Nearly everyone in Cabot, Benton, and Bryant work in Little Rock (or Pulaski County), and some of you expect all these Little Rock suburbs to post in a "General Arkansas" forum - that would be just DUMB!!!
By the way, we know that it is the NWA posters that do not want Conway and the other LR suburbs included in the Little Rock Metro subforum. If Conway is kept off of the Little Rock Metro subforum, then I will vote for only Fayetteville to be in the future Northwest Arkansas subfolder...
