Default Looking for a home

Hi, my family consists of me, my husband, a toddler, and our dogs and three cats. We are looking for a house or mobile home outside city limits of Little Rock, but within reasonable distance since my husband works in LR and my toddler has day care (we don't want to switch his school). We need a place outside city limits because we have too many dogs to be inside the city, I also want them to have plenty of land to run on. They stay inside at night and whenever they want, really. We need at least a 2bed/1bath home, ideally it would have 1-4 acres and definitely no animal restrictions. I've looked in newspapers, online ads, etc and haven't had any luck so far. I am looking for a job, so we can't afford a lot right now, but after I find a job. Does anyone know of anything for rent, or rent/lease to own, or even something for sale with owner financing? We have some money for a down payment. Obviously must be pet friendly, but they are all very well behaved and don't cause any type of damage or harm to anything, we clean up after them every week. They're dachshunds, so they do like to bark at the wind or even a leaf, but like I said they're inside at night where they're nice and quiet, lol. Thanks to anyone that can help or knows of a place available. We are looking for monthly payment of $450 or less right now, we can pay more after I find a job.

Does anyone know of any houses or mh's for rent or rent/buy that we may be interested in? We are really getting desperate and the animal control freaks are threatening to take our dogs if they find them outside they will take them! Please we are really needing to move asap, so if you know of something, even if temporary for us to stay so we continue looking please let me know. We are running out of options. It's really depressing me and I can't take this stress.

Why don't you sell some of your dogs so you can afford to have broader choices, and even save some money ? having a place for ALL of your dogs to run around seems very secondary to me ???

If I were you I would try looking around Benton, maybe, or down SW to the city near the Interstate, or all the way NE, past Jacksonville and NLR

Have you looked in the Sheridan area?
A friend of mine lives down there and she and her family have lots of pets.
Of course their first concern wasn't their pets but plenty of the people in the neighborhood have pets.

No one asked for your sub-par opinion, my dogs are family, you may think dogs are property to be thrown away but I don't. We would be looking for the same criteria whether we had pets or not, so get a life and stop leaving rude comments about things you don't know about.

How far is Sheridan from Little Rock? We can't move too far away due to my husband's job and I don't want to take my son out of his daycare, he loves it there.

30-45 minutes. Redfield/Hensley is in that same direction but closer to Little Rock (more like 20 minutes). We lived there for a while and our son went to school and we both worked in Little Rock.

I don't really recommend Sheridan.

For the $$ you can afford to spend, I think you are either going to have to sacrifice your son's daycare and/or 1 or more of your animals which sucks. Unless you can find a rent to own property in your price category. Is there any family or friends that can "board" your pupdogs, be it together or split up, until you can find something?

Hope things work out for you.

We don't pay for day care, my son's insurance covers it for speech therapy. Our budget right now is tight until I can find a job. My dad has a couple dogs, but I don't have anyone else that I know well enough or trust to take the rest for any period of time. We've found several houses, one was rented to a single girl (3 bed!!!) and one was rented before we even got a chance to look at it when they promised us a chance to see it and choose. We've looked at a place in Jacksonville on 4 acres, but it's inside city limits and they have a 3 pet max. I've looked in Sherwood but haven't found anything not expensive. One place we were going to look at is in Redfield. I haven't found anything in Sheridan. I've been checking the Democrat Gazette, with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? I've also checked craigslist, kijiji, hoobly, local, and the news website. Thanks.

There's a local paper in Redfield, I think, and also maybe if there's a Jefferson County paper or the Pine Bluff paper.
