I was just wondering the general weather for the area as we like to be outdoors often and we are pretty active people. Also, one of my biggest concerns is tornadoes. Is this something that happens a lot in the area? Thank you

Conway has a typical weather pattern common to the south central states. When I lived there in 2001, summer days were mostly sunny & humid in the high 80s, and there were muggy nights where it tended to rain more. I did notice Conway was moderately drier & more comfortable than other areas of the state such as Little Rock & Hot Springs. Winter in Conway tended to be dry with a few overcast days and rainy days, but very little snow. Most days were in the 50s and sunny, but I did notice a slight haze in the air. Conway is in a river valley wedged between hill country. Although tornadoes do happen, they're not as common as in east & southeast Arkansas. As a matter a fact, when I was there in 2001, we had an earthquake in the region! It was felt 40 miles a way on the TCBY tower in downtown Little Rock. But all and all, the climate is very good in Conway
