Five Guys Burgers and Fries coming soon?
I read somewhere that you have not lived if you have not been to 5 guys. I see that there is one "Coming Soon" to Lakewood Village in North Little Rock. Does anyone know if it's open yet, and or worth the trip from Russellville?

There's a few where I live and they really are great burgers (NOT cheap though). They have peanuts sitting out that you can munch while waiting for your burger. Pretty good place.

We had them in the DC area and now we have them here in Colorado.
Good burgers. Worth a try. French fries are limp, greasy and not prepared well at all.
Amazing how good a burger tastes when it's REAL meat and not full of meat by products and imported meat-stuff. Our rules here in the USA do not require "country of origin" labeling on meats, so who knows what's in the burgers sold at most fast-food places. Chains like Five Guys, Smash Burger, In N Out Burger, Fudd Ruckers, Ted's Montana Grill and others are using real beef, never-frozen, and the difference shows.

Wendy's uses real beef, never frozen too, or at least they used to. They used to patty their meat every morning. I assume they still do.
I love Five Guys. Saw a picture of a Five Guys burger in some post at City-Data and searched to see if there was one in my area. There is, but about a 20-30 minute drive from me depending on traffic. I tried it and have been back several times. I wish they'd open one closer to me.

I saw this and had to add my two cents. Five Guys has delicious, juicy and tasty burgers.

My wife and I ate at two different Five Guys this past Summer, and they were both awesome. We ate at one in Knoxville,Tn,and one in Kill Devil Hills,NC. We went to the one in KDH after finding out how good the food is at Five Guys!! It was late on Wednesday, and Five Guys popped up on our GPS on a food search. We made it before they closed barely, and boy was it awesome. We were starved, but we were very impressed.
They have awesome burgers, but I still think the local joints around LR/NLR have better burgers. I think the restaurants will go over well though, and it didn't look like they had much work left before the restaurant will open.

Oh, and why would you drive to Five Guys when IMO the Big Red has better burgers right there in Russelville?

Five Guys is decent, but I have to figure there are some local joints in LR that serve better burgers.
