I bet they'd pursue my £8 far more vigourously if I didn't pay than their £3.8 million.

I'm more worried by a recent radio 4 documentary suggesting certain middle eastern diplomats are keeping African slaves, and are beyond the law.

New Yorkers are always complaining about this in reverse, so it's a little embarrassing for us to be doing the same thing. Honest, it isn't that tough to obey simple traffic rules, especially when you are a guest.

That's old news. The US embassy have been refusing to pay for years, and I have heard discussions with a particular talk radio station with the former Ambassador (during Dubya's reign) saying they were not budging.

Good luck to them, our parking regulations and charges are outrageous in London.
