I have to agree somewhat. Sunny beaches are great but can get boring. Definitely feels like being constantly beaten over the head with rainbows when you're in Hawaii

I lived in Singapore for 2 years and wild horses couldn't get me back there.
By far the most boring place I have ever been.

my guess is there will be a good handful of Hawaiians living in london. theres probably a good handful of people from most countries (i know hawaii isn't a country!) around the world living in london, it's the worlds most diverse city with over 300 languages spoken in the city, new york has 170, toronto has 140 and los angeles has 92

Seattle or Portland. London-ish weather without the hassles of immigration.

What's so priceless about it? Should I have used "emigrating" instead? Basically, I was trying to say is if the O.P. is trying to find a cool, rainy climate it would be less trouble staying within one's country vs. going to the U.K.. We do have those climatic options. I've stayed in London nine months and please don't take offense, but I'd rather be living in Seattle or Portland.
