Wife and I are coming over in September for 14 days and would like to rent an apartment.

Any suggestions?

Care to narrow down things a bit?

Any particular area, got a budget in mind, minimum size of apartment, near to anything in particular- that kind of thing.

I have a lovely apartment available to rent for that period, in the heart of Covent Garden, hot and cold running water, 5 bedrooms, only £100 per week.

All you need to do to secure it is send a holding deposit of $1000 via Western Union.

(sorry for the glib post, but there is a serious point behind it: the apartment rental market is full of scammers, so watch your back, and if anything looks to good to be true, it probably is.)

I would try airbnb.co.uk and homeaway.co.uk.

AirBNB is a safe and secure way to rent an apartment and they have great reviews and information on different areas.

Temp. Accommodation has some options for apartment rentals.

I have personal experience and no other who have rented/booked via Bridge Street going back a decade. A client and her family who have recently relocated from Boston are temporarily staying at a nice apartment near St Katherine's Dock.

Serviced Apartments, Corporate Housing, Temporary Housing, Government Lodging and Extended Stay Hotel | BridgeStreet

PS Whatever you do, NEVER book through anyone on a forum, Craigs list or Gumtree.
