Myself and my girlfriend (both 23 years old) graduated from university last year and after no luck in finding work in video production/photography, we now want to make the move to London. We currently work for Sainsburys so we are looking to make a store transfer. This way we will still be earning whilst we look for work in our chosen profession. We don't mind sharing a house if its a cheaper way of living.
The main things we would like to know are:
1) Best part of London for video/photography jobs
2) Cheap but nice areas to live (ideally near a Sainsburys)
3) Suitable accommodation (house or flat share/flat to rent etc)
4) Possibilities of bills all included with rent
5) Living costs - food, bills, travel etc
6) Places to avoid
We're thinking our budget for rent between us will be £800pcm leaving us with approx £600 for everything else. Lastly, is it recommended to save money prior to moving and how much considering our circumstances?
Every piece of advice will be greatly appreciated!
