must be a city thing then, I haven't seen any mixed race couples in the south west and I've lived here for nearly 60 years, plenty of non whites but not mixed couples.

currently in the middle of the North Devon countryside, but I lived in Plymouth for 40 years(until 1999) so I have seen both sides.

And you have NEVER seen a mixed raced couple!?? This is very hard to believe even if you lived in the outer Hebrides, I might be getting confused, do you mean something else?

no, that's exactly what I mean, you are not confused.
I very nearly became part of a mixed race couple myself back in the mid 80s, she was from Sierra Leone, but it didn't work out.

Me too, I lived in a small town 60 miles outside London before I left and plenty mixed race couples there. Not just a city things. Plenty towns this way up and down the country. I lived in Torquay for a few years and there were mixed race couples there.

maybe there were, but not where I lived.
Torquay is full of "incomers", its where pensioners from the home counties move to when they retire.
its also got a massive drugs problem.

You mean there were no mixed race couples in the village where you lived and not that you have never seen any? Where you are from is very small right?

yes, I have lived in Plymouth, I have lived in Cornwall and I have lived on Dartmoor, I now live on the edge of a small rural market town, no mixed race couples.
